Once you’ve hired a venue, sent invites, booked some amazing children’s entertainment from Fun Valley, you’ve got the cake to think about! It’s kind of a big deal! Sure, you could make a cake, and if you do you are totally awesome, but let’s be realistic who has time to make a cake? Especially one that is shaped like a Unicorn or has a Superhero flying over it. There are so many people out there making wonderful cakes that its hard to know who to go to. Also, if you are paying a lot of money so you want it to be the best of the best! Well don’t worry here at Fun Valley we have picked out three of our favourite cakes for your little one’s special day, from supermarket buys to professional cake designers. We know birthdays can be expensive so we have given you a wide range of styles and prices to meet all budgets. Take a look below at our finds. Only problem is we really fancy some cake now, someone put the kettle on…

Our next cake is slightly more expensive, however it’s a showstopper!! Inspired by the Disney film Monsters Inc, this cake is sure to impress. You can order it online for next day delivery – even better! You have lots of optional extras including candy floss flavoured cream and a piñata cake filled with smarties. This online company is fab and there are a lot of styles to choose from, but be warned, this cake starts from £99.95!

There is of course a gem of a cake we thought deserved a mention, a cake that needs no introduction, of course it’s the Caterpillar Cake!! Which you can get from most supermarkets, you could even have a go at making it yourself. £6 from Asda, and they also do a gluten and dairy free version – result!
